Jack Ellis, now a retired Deputy Sheriff from Sarasota,
Florida, formed Complete Canine in 1985. The business was established to
provide a higher standard of European imported police service dog candidates
for law enforcement work. Since 1985 through 2003, nearly 1700 dogs have been
imported into the United States from Europe. All these animals have been
personally tested for all aspects of police work, hips x-rayed, a one-year
health and 30-day trainability guarantee provided. Prices for these animals are
far below the average vendor as Jack's belief, after 30 years in law
enforcement, is to provide the best quality animal in order for the K9 program
to be productive, that the handlers will return home safely to their families,
and not prohibit a departmental K9 unit from forming due to an exorbitant cost
associated with the initial purchase of the animal(s). Dogs are also available
to civilian private owners for those who wish an imported dog for pet,
home-business protection, and sport work. Pedigrees are available with the dog
if required, and titled animals are obtainable at an additional cost.

Since his retirement in 2001, Jack now resides in
Budapest, Hungary and travels extensively to procure quality animals for
importation. He also supplies excellent K9 training equipment manufactured by

VITAL EXPERIENCE :

• 1980-2001:
  Deputy Sheriff (sergeant) with the Sarasota County
  Sheriffís Office in Sarasota, Florida. Established the canine unit and
  was in charge of it from inception until retirement.
• Duties Included:
  supervision of a 10-team unit, initial training and
  continued maintenance training, training of agencies in Florida and agencies
  throughout the United States.
• 1971-1980:
  Police officer with the Orlando Police Department in
  Orlando, Florida. K9 handler for 4 years.
